Christine Chawhanda

Christine Chawhanda was a postdoctoral research fellow at Wits-TUB-UniLag Urban Lab from 2022 till 2023. Her research interests are urbanisation, climate change, migration, sexual and reproductive health, comprehensive sexual education, fertility, mortality, livelihoods and gender based violence. She studied Social Sciences and Population Studies at the University of KwaZulu Natal and in 2022, she obtained her PhD degree in Public Health with the University of Witwatersrand.
