Dr Deborah Bunmi Ojo

Postdoctoral Fellow University of Lagos

Dr. Deborah B. Ojo is a lecturer in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning, Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria. She holds a PhD in Urban and Regional Planning from the same institution. From 2021 till 2023 Deborah was a postdoc fellow at the Centre for Housing and Sustainable Development, University of Lagos. Her research and teaching focuses on Border and Urban Studies; Environmental Management and Behaviour. She is as well interested in engaging students, local communities, policy maker in discourse that can bring about a positive change in citizens' wellbeing and quality of life. She is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Town Planners (MNITP), Graduate member of the Nigeria Institute of Management (MNIM) and a Registered Town Planner (TOPREC, Nigeria).
