Prof Anna Steigemann

Prof Dr Anna Steigemann is an urban researcher and sociologist. She worked as a Senior Researcher and at Habitat Unit till 2022. From 2016 until 2020 she was coordinating the Wits-TUB Urban Lab. She is also co-supervising one of the project's PhD students. Her main research interests are neighbourhood and community studies, migration, diversity, gender and the city, critical governance and participation research, and collaborative research methods between the social and the spatial sciences. Since 2023 she works as a professor for the Sociological Dimensions of Space at the University of Regensburg.
