Access to the Campus
Pedestrian entrance
Delegates must use the pedestrian entrance Visitors gate/ Senate House on Jorissen Street to enter the campus.
Uber Drop-offs
Use Gate 10 from Jorissen Street south of Yale Road or Gate 7 (Empire Gate) from Empire Street north of Yale Road.
Uber Pickups
Delegates will have to use the pedestrian entrance to exit the university through the Visitors’ Gate/ Senate House on Jorissen Street and can only request Uber once they are outside the university.
PLEASE MAKE SURE TO BRING YOUR PASSPORT OR IDENTITIY DOCUMENT. THIS IS REQUIRED TO ACCESS THE CAMPUS!
Wits Braamfontein Campus
John Moffat Building
The conference will take place in the John Moffat Building which hosts the School of Architecture and Planning. Plenary sessions will take place in auditorium A1 (Dorothy Susskind Auditorium, foyer level). Thematic sessions will take place in the following rooms:
- Auditorium A2 (foyer level)
- Auditorium A3 (foyer level)
- Auditorium A4 (basement)
- PG Seminar Room (basement)
- First Floor Seminar Room (first floor)
- Far West Studio (second floor)
