In the **International Webinar on Optimising Timetabling for Postgraduate Teaching** workshop, the focus is on the timetabling of postgraduate programmes in the urban studies/management and planning fields. The speakers will share experiences from universities across Africa, Europe and Latin America, explaining the different regions they draw their students from. The aim is to understand and discus successes and challenges of different forms of release, whether block release, evenin teaching, weekend classes or others.

Africities is a Pan Africa conference that is convened by the United Cities and Local Governments of Africa’s (UCLG-A) and brings together the leadership of cities and sub-national governments and their associations for the advancement of decentralization and local governance aimed at improving the living standards of the citizens.
